Jace Eardley, CMHC Candidate, Clinical Intern

Adults Age Group:
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University, and I am excited to be completing my Master’s Level Clinical internship at Transitions Counseling! I work with a variety of presenting concerns including, anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, and OCD. I enjoy working with clients who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
As human beings, we are made up of many parts! Some parts hold onto emotions such as shame and guilt while other parts are there to protect us such as fear and anxiety. This method of working with your parts is rooted in the work of Internal Family Systems (IFS).
In session, we will work together to explore your parts and learn more about their roles and how they are impacting your daily life.
I am an IFS-Informed therapist who also draws from the framework of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to create meaningful relationships with clients to alleviate symptoms by allowing clients to be more present with their parts and create lasting change. I have also completed additional training to treat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder utilizing the Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT) model.
I have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and have worked as a crisis counselor and a registered yoga instructor for over 15 years. Outside of the office, I enjoy knitting, spending time with family, creating art, and playing video games.
I am offering in-person and virtual appointments in our Norfolk office.
