What is the Law of Attraction?

What is the Law of Attraction?  Perhaps you’ve heard of the book The Secret, or you’ve seen quotes on social media from the law of attraction and wondered what it’s all about. The law of attraction is a belief that like attracts like.  In other words, it is the belief that what we think about, we bring about into our lives.  It goes beyond the power of positive thought and believes in manifesting our dreams.  The theory is that everything has energy and a vibration, including our thoughts, so when we think about what we want, we tune into the energies around us and become open to these things in our lives. 

Oftentimes we feel like we are living in a world that is seemingly based on luck and chance. If you are a lucky person then you can be successful.  But if you are an unlucky person then you will not get what you want.  A world based on luck creates a world full of envy, jealousy, and a sense of lack of control or direction. When you think about life through the lens of the law of attraction, it’s possible to feel more empowered and derive more meaning from your experiences. It is a way of making sense of the world and energies around us.

The law of attraction is another way to think about the universe. It can help us view the world in a way that is not random. It can help provide some order and meaning with the things around you. You can look at the things that come to you in your life as a manifestation of your thoughts and energies.

So what is the benefit of understanding the law of attraction?  Imagine what it would be like to have a sense of empowerment and control over all the things you want. By believing in the law of attraction, you are opening up an opportunity to attract what you want into your life.  By developing the belief that thoughts create things and understanding how it fits in your life, you may be able to use this to feel happier about your life.
