What We Treat
At Transitions Counseling Services, Inc., we work together with our clients using a collaborative approach to therapy in order to treat a wide range of issues in adults, including young college-age adults and working professionals.
Many therapists in our group hold post graduate training certificates in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or are currently seeking the post graduate training, which is a very effective type of therapy designed to treat a range of disorders, such as depression, anxiety and mood-related issues. Many therapists also have a specialized skill set and extended training in the population of which they work.
We target the unhealthy patterns of thought and how that might impact negative feelings and self-destructive behaviors. We have seen how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has helped to improve experience for our clients as individuals and in their personal relationships.
