Franklin, Norfolk, VirtualAdolescents, Adults Age Group:
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor candidate with six years of experience helping adolescents, parents, and families live healthier, more fulfilling lives. My interest in working with families began while working with incarcerated adolescents at the Department of Youth Services and then in a more clinical role that focused on family strengths and individual potential as a therapist. My passion is working with adult men or adolescents who struggle with emotional challenges, be it from stress, life circumstances, or overwhelm.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered, taking a whole view of the person in front of me and making a genuine attempt at seeing the world through their eyes. This approach began while I served in the military and had the opportunity to work alongside people with real-world stress in environments that were emotionally, physically, and psychologically taxing. Developing a person-centered approach was deepened when I entered graduate school at Liberty University, where I had the opportunity to integrate faith, leadership, and compassion into the therapy room. I believe you can achieve your goals through awareness and sustained effort, and my goal is to guide you at each step along the path. I am currently pursuing my licensure as an LMHC in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and I have extensive experience in family, adolescent, and adult therapy.
I offer in-person appointments in our Franklin office and Norfolk office Monday through Friday from late morning to midafternoon. I look forward to working together!
