VirtualAdolescents, Adults Age Group:
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I work with adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship concerns, life transitions, and substance use. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, develop new perspectives, and build practical tools for meaningful change.
I specialize in helping individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck in difficult patterns, or unsure how to move forward. Many of the clients I work with are navigating periods of transition, managing persistent anxiety or intrusive thoughts, working through relationship challenges, or reevaluating their relationship with substances. I aim to meet clients where they are while supporting them in building greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence in their ability to cope with life’s complexities.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique goals and needs. I believe therapy should be both reflective and practical—helping clients better understand their patterns while also developing strategies they can apply in everyday life.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Forensics and Correctional Healthcare from William James College. My training and professional experience have provided me with a strong foundation in working with individuals facing complex emotional, behavioral, and environmental challenges across a variety of settings.
I work out of the Norfolk office and currently offer telehealth sessions only, with virtual appointments available on Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
