I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a compassionate and genuine style specializing in adults. I provide counseling with Transitions Counseling Services. My Strengths Based perspective will assist you in seeing your strengths and develop a healthier, more balanced life style. In my collaborative approach, together we will improve effective coping strategies, enhance self-esteem and general well being. I am dedicated to client care and helping you achieve your goals while feeling supported and validated. I work with adults in both individual and group treatment. I specialize in men and women’s issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, adjustment disorder, self esteem, life transitions and personal growth. My 20+ years of experience working in the mental health field has provided me with opportunities to offer a variety of treatment options best designed to meet your individual needs. My treatment approaches include Positive Psychology, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Supportive Therapy. I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work from Bridgewater State University and Bachelors in Recreation Education from Northeastern University. In addition, I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. I believe with my years of clinical experience combined with my authentic personality, together we can achieve resolutions and get to a healthier, happier, whole place. I offer Thursday evenings and Saturday appointment times in our Franklin office. Currently I am not accepting new clients.
