I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing therapy at Transitions Counseling Services. I am committed to supporting you in finding your personal journey to health and happiness. I offer a variety of therapeutic skills and specialties allowing me to tailor our treatment to your personal goals in a safe supportive environment, free of any judgment. I value client relationship building and provide compassionate listening with honest and direct feedback. My systems approach allows me to incorporate the larger picture, while also focusing on the here and now for quick resolution, integrating strengths based and solution focused techniques. I work with adults in the context of individual therapy, couples therapy and family therapy. I specialize in treatment of relationships, special education, chronic illness and adult transition, PTSD and trauma, LGBTQ community and gender issues, adjustment disorders, and anxiety and depressive disorders. I also specialize in supporting individuals with short and long term medical conditions and hold certifications in Primary Care Behavioral Health from UMASS Medical and Applied Neuroscience.
I have been in the mental health field for 20 years. I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Assumption College with additional Certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child and Family Therapy. I am dependable and hardworking, committed to helping you get to that better place!
